Maggie, Eric, and Anna will share their wisdom and experience gained from being on both sides of the audition table to teach you the tools you need to stand out from the crowd.
This workshop will use materials from Elf and will include singing, movement and discussions to help you build your next audition.
The workshop is open to actors in Grades 2 through 12. Attendees will be singing and dancing, so please wear appropriate attire and shoes. Dance shoes are not mandatory, but please no flip flops, crocs, or sandals – sneakers are adequate. Please note that everyone entering the building for the workshop (both students and those accompanying them) must wear a mask at all times.
In our ongoing effort to reduce COVID-19 transmission and to keep everyone as safe as possible, all participants in Elf The Musical age 12 and over will be required to be fully vaccinated and show proof of such at the audition check-in table on September 11th. No student, age 12 and over, will be permitted to audition without it. In addition, we will be requiring that everyone in the audition building (auditioners and those accompanying them) to wear a mask. Auditioners will be able to remove their masks when instructed (if comfortable) during the actual audition. At this time we anticipate masking during rehearsals, but will continually monitor guidance from the CDC and the state of Massachusetts and update our policies as needed.
