Thank you for continuing to support The Un-Common Theatre Company! The Un-Common Theatre Company is a non-profit youth theatre organization that is dedicated to producing quality productions performed by aspiring young actors, singers and musicians and supported by aspiring young technicians. We provide opportunities to work under the guidance of theatre professionals and perform in professional theater houses. Our vision is to develop the life skills of youth through the professional theatrical experience. This work is incredibly important to our community, and relies on the generosity of individuals and corporations such as yourself.
We have been developing youth in theatre since 1980 and produce four shows each season, in addition to a high school aged improv troupe. Our shows are:
♦ Fall Family Production: Open to students in grades 2-12
♦ Spring Production: Open to students in grades 7-12
♦ Young Performers Production: Open to students in grades 1-6 with a high school
♦ Director, Choreographer, and technical leads
♦ Summer Young Adult Production: Open to students in grade 10 to age 21
♦ Improv Soup: Open to students in grades 9-12
♦ Improv Soup Jr: Workshop open to students in grades 7-10
