The Un-Common Theatre Company awards two $500 Scholarships each year to high school seniors to recognize their extensive participation in the arts during high school as well as encourage them to continue to participate in the arts in the future.
The Mansfield High School Scholarship is awarded to a Mansfield High School senior in appreciation for the Town of Mansfield’s support of The Un-Common Theatre Company throughout the past 30 years.
The Un-Common Theatre Company Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who has participated in any aspect of an Un-Common Theatre Company production including acting, directing, pit musician or technical assistance.
All scholarship applicants must meet the following requirements:
♦ Involvement in music or theatre 3 out of 4 years during their high school years
♦ An interest in pursuing music or theatre in the future
♦ Continuation of education at an accredited 2 or 4 year institution.
♦ For the Alumni Scholarship, applicants must have previously participated on stage or behind the scenes of an Un-Common Theatre production or program.
